Ever wanted to know what it’s like to work in an American Embassy? Want to try your hand at navigating diplomatic challenges? Get the chance at the US Consulate in Melbourne! We are pleased to invite our members to the US Consulate in Melbourne for an exclusive tabletop simulation, hosted by GC Michael Kleine.

15 MPIRO Members will get the chance to bring to the table their American thinking caps and play their hand at navigating through a series of political, diplomatic, and economic events as members of an American Embassy. To aid us on our way, our host and GC will also walk us through how the pros handle the situation. If you’ve ever wanted the inside story of what goes on inside an embassy, this is a great opportunity.
Registrations are open, so submit your details through Eventbrite to secure your spot: it’s first in, first serve!
The event is free, but you must be registered as an MPIRO member to attend (Full or Associate Member). If you haven’t officially signed up with us yet, you have the opportunity to sign up as you register for a ticket. If you are unsure about which membership is for you, criteria for each type is provided on the tickets.
Applicants will be notified of their success after April 23rd, and those who are successful will be forwarded a prepping package, outlining your role, a selection of readings and instructions for security clearance.
